As a bilateral chamber of commerce, our mission includes the promotion and stimulation of transatlantic trade and commerce between the United States and the United Kingdom. We recognize the importance of trade with the U.K. in its wider role as a member of the European Union.

The BACC, Great Lakes Region, (BACCGL) is a member of The British-American Business Council (BABC). As an international organization, the BABC links all the British-American Chambers of Commerce and Business Associations throughout the U.S., Canada, Puerto Rico and the U.K. The governments of the United States and the United Kingdom support the BABC and its members and provide commercial assistance and referral. Both governments also provide general consular support through their respective diplomatic offices.
The BACCGL works closely with many local, state and international organizations involved in promotion of overseas commerce. These include the World Trade Center Cleveland, the State of Ohio Governor's Office and Department of Development,
the City of Cleveland Mayor's Office, the Greater Cleveland Growth Association, the Toledo Regional Growth Partnership, and the Greater Akron Chamber of Commerce.
