Depending on your membership in the British-American Chamber of Commerce, you are entitled many benefits and services. Some examples are:

WORK & TRAINING VISAS IN THE US & UK
Access to the J1 Visa Exchange Visitor Program (in the USA). This is administered by BritishAmerican Business Inc. (BABi) in NY and enables certain corporate members to bring qualified employees into the US for periods of training;

Access to the WP2 Program (in the UK). BABi is able to process the TWES Permit with a priority service to enable corporate members to bring qualified employees into the UK for periods of training;

LOBBYING
Access to the expertise and lobbying capabilities of the BABC's US Trade and Investment Policy Committee, which has taken on a number of successful initiatives on business policy issues;

NATIONAL EVENTS IN THE US & UK
Opportunity to participate in the full range of event programs offered by all member associations in the US and the UK (especially good for those who travel a great deal and would like a networking opportunity in another location);

VISA CARD
Special VISA card through MBNA that provides discounts and incentives on travel-related services to the UK (such as airfare, hotels, car rental and restaurants);

RESEARCH & INFORMATION SERVICES
The BABi Business Information Services. This is a program to help develop business for members by identifying appropriate contacts, agents, licensees and distributors for a low cost for their marketing initiatives.
